On July 14, a gaint 100 pound opah fish was standed on the Oregon beach. It's colorful and mostly orange with a dark face. It was also the first opah around the area according to the aquarium's assistant manager. It was close to shore when it died. Because of the climate change, people suggest they were moving north away from California. Opahs can be as large as 600 pounds and are the only warm blooded fish known to man kind. People are still trying to figure out more about the Opah since so very little is known about it. The tissue of the fish can tell us where the fish lives and what it ate. The aquarium is trying to keep the skeleton to put on display. The students are the aquarium will have a one in a lifetime opportunity to dissect such a unique fish.
